A polymorphic artwork is not just limited to a single image or point of view. The viewer’s perception of the art changes and the art appears to morph as the viewer looks at the art from various positions. Mark uses wood pieces cut at 45 degree angles, creating a 3D image. Each side of the artwork is a different pattern, but when viewed from the front the patterns merge into a third design.
